Collagen is such a versatile superfood with so many benefits and you can sneak it in just about anywhere! This post will share with you my favorite tips and recipes for how to get more collagen into your diet.

My Favorite Brand of Collagen

I have tried different brands of collagen and my favorite is Vital Proteins because I love their different flavors and how easy they make it get more collagen into the diet. Like Dark Chocolate and Blackberry! I can add to some dairy-free milk for a super simple and healthy chocolate drink that my kids love. Or the Strawberry Lemon Beauty Water that adds a subtle flavor while also giving you a hefty dose of collagen while you imbibe. How to Get More Collagen Into Your Diet

Collagen peptides can be added to just about anything! It dissolves and has no offensive taste or odor. Make sure you get collagen peptides that can be dissolved vs. Collagen that will gel. We use both, but for different reasons.  Here are some of the ways you can get more collagen into your diet.

One of the easiest ways to get more collagen into your diet is to simply add to your favorite drinks and recipes! This brand is my favorite and has both flavored and unflavored options. I used both depending on what I am wanting. Panna Cotta with Gelatin Recipe: 

This is a really yummy recipe from my online Mindful MealPlanning Program. It’s delicious to eat for breakfast or as a dessert.  

1. Pour 1 cup milk into a small bowl. Sprinkle gelatin over top. Let soften for 5 minutes, then stir until dissolved.

2. In a pan, mix remaining milk, and maple syrup. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring. Remove from heat; stir in gelatin mixture. Transfer to a bowl; whisk in yogurt, vanilla and turmeric. Divide among 8 6-ounce ramekins. Cover with plastic wrap; chill until firm, at least 2 hours. Enjoy!
