With spring approaching I enjoy doing Spring Cleaning around my house but also like to do a detox around this time to freshen up my body as the weather warms up! This post will share with you information on my favorite real food detox that I recommend that will leave you feeling lighter, healthier and happier!

 

MIX Wellness Real Food Detox

The SuperWoman Slim Down Real Food Detox was created by my friend Kristen over at Mix Wellness. I’ve done this detox a couple times and love it. I have to admit, the thought of a full elimination diet was a bit intimidating to me at first because I had never done anything that restrictive before, but I ended up really enjoying it. It allowed me to realize that I do have minor sensitivities to gluten and dairy which I wasn’t aware of before and although they aren’t severe allergies, my body does experience a reaction from these specific foods. I typically have done this detox when I feel my body needs a restart and some extra nourishing foods for a couple of weeks. It leaves me feeling clear headed, full of energy and well nourished which was different from other major detoxes I had done in the past.

The program is a 21 day jumpstart to health and every time I have done this cleanse I have felt AMAZING afterwards! The recipes provided in the detox are easy to make, delicious and leave you feeling satisfied.
