When ever holidays or birthdays approach I am always looking for toy ideas for my kids that are both fun and educational. I try to avoid ending up with too many toys that don’t get played with or don’t serve much of a purpose. As a homeschooling family I want something that is functional but also something that will keep my kids attention and help them learn something too.  This post is a list of mom approved toys for young children from infants thru 1st grade. A few of these my kids have and LOVE and a couple others are on our wish list.
