With as much cooking as I do it’s hard not to fall into a rut. I love creating new recipes to add to my weekly meal plans which you can checkout HERE. This week I had some leftover pork and decided to make pork fried rice with lots of veggies but wanted to include a second course. I remembered one of my hubbies favorites and felt inspired to create my own Egg Drop Soup Recipe.
Asian restaurants are known for their use of MSG and most of the recipes I found online called for yellow food coloring. GROSS! This is a healthy version of a takeout favorite, egg drop soup can be made with healthy nourishing ingredients and without yucky additives. This egg drop soup recipe is made with 5 Superfood(*) ingredients that can prevent and banish a cold, reduce inflammation and provide the body with essential nutrients.

Oh my goodness, just made this! it is so good! Thank You for the recipe!
I liked the recipe just wish I could find the secret to those long thin strands of egg in the soup. A definite improvement at least I avoided having rubbery clumps of egg. I enjoyed it while recovery from a rare cold and it finished the get well job I started with plain chicken soup. Thanks for sharing.
MMM thanks I LOVED it!
