How to Meditate

If you are new to meditation, you can click here for my tips for beginners on how to start a regular meditation practice. If you are looking for guided recordings to help you with your practice, you can download my album Journey to Bliss: Guided Hypno-Meditations to help you release blocks and negative emotions and improve your overall vibrational energy level.

When starting out, the amount of time is not important. Making time for 5-10 minutes twice a day will begin to show benefits and it will gradually become easier to meditate for longer periods of time. If you are like me and have a harder time quieting your mind here is a post I wrote about a meditation tool that helps me tremendously! The more you make your meditation a priority the easier it will become and the more your body will experience the benefits. I notice such a difference in my mindset, attitude, and how I emotionally process situations from days that I meditate compared to days that I don’t. If you think you are too busy to meditate for 20 minutes here is how I was able to incorporate meditation into my busy schedule.

Life is hard. And it can be extremely difficult finding balance in an unbalanced world. But with great work comes great reward. As a busy work from home, homeschooling mom I am always looking for ways to focus on balancing my life and and making appropriate changes to live the best life possible. I have been long anticipating the release of this amazing book and was so excited when I was picked to receive an advanced copy of the book to review and share with my tribe. What is Oola?

So what is Oola? Oola is a state of awesomeness. It’s living a life that is balanced and growing in seven key areas of health and well-being. About unlocking the potential for greatness that lies within each of us, and finding true purpose and meaning for your life. The OolaGuys, Dr. Dave Braun (OolaSeeker) and Dr. Troy Amdahl (OolaGuru), have identified seven areas that people need to balance and grow to live a rich and fulfilled life. They are the masters at finding balance in an unbalanced world.

According to the Oola Guys there are 7 areas of life that we need to focus on in order to live a balanced and fulfilled life. These 7 key areas are:

  • Family
  • Faith
